Just thought I'd post some screenshots from a battle that took place the other day. This battle had about 330 people involved.

~15 minutes into the battle, Xs are drones, [ ]s are ships, red = hostile, blue = friendly:


This is towards the end, notice almost all the reds are gone from the overview (still lots of reds visible but those are disabled hostile drones)



The next major update in eve is "ambulation", which will be walking in stations and hopefully ships (not sure):

And just for fun "when carebears attack". A carebear is a person who does not PVP, mostly just sit around and mine or hunt NPCs. This is a mining ship fitted for combat taking out unsuspecting would be greifers:

Serious graphics update.... I know I'm the only one who plays this game but I'm posting about it anyway. This game is just too awesome and it just got awesomer. Game for those who thought WoW looked good but wanted something 30 times more complex and in space. Not a flight sim. It's essentially fully 3D ogame.
