This 4th version's just released continues to further reduce the favoritism this map has always shown the defense on the 3rd segment of the map. Better balanced is more fun, so this is good news! Running on .id|Experience lots! Thank you HoeDog!
Changed D nades from 4 to 0 Changed the Grenade bag respawn time from 30 secs to 10 secs Changed the D armor from full to about 1/2 Changed the flag returned time from 60 secs to 75 secs. Entire readme text follows: QUOTE ============================================
OSAKA_League Revised Invade or defend ============================================ by Bryan "Zouave" Dillow edited with permission by Hoedog Only one stronghold remains against the unification of Japan... Osaka Castle. The Ii, loyal retainers of the Tokugawa, must take the castle by force. Opposing them are the warriors of the Goto family. Objective: Red team must take their flag to Blue team's Castle to win the game. There are two command points on the way which must be secured in order. Scoring: Blue team - 5 points per minute Red team - 40 points for capturing the village - 50 points for capturing the castle gate - 60 points for capturing the castle keep Other Notes: - Dropped flags return after 75 seconds - When a capture point is secured, spawn points are revised and a new flag appears. - Rounds last 25 minutes. Revisions: func_nogrenade removed from CP3 grenade resupply added to the observation tower in the middle of the third leg. League Revisions: Changed D nades from 4 to 0 Changed the Grenade bag respawn time from 30 secs to 10 secs Changed the D armor from full to about 1/2 Changed the flag returned time from 60 secs to 75 secs. -------------------- id no longer welcomes the founder of id, excluded from the society he created.

i just gave it a run, i think theres a gate glitch... i only got to play for like 5 min, but when it said "gates open" the gates didnt open and the flag didnt appear --------------------  |

yes back on topic, theme maps usually end up turning to ****....i'd suggest just making a fun map and forgetting about all the theme/let's make it look cool bullshit.
